My plan was to paint a woman with an interesting nose, a beauty who stands out in a crowd. I began looking for reference images and found no shortage of beautiful women with unique noses.....Barbara Streisand, Uma Thurman, Sofia Coppola, Lady Gaga, Virginia Woolf, Princess Diana, Anjelica Huston, and Laura Dern, to name only a few. Conventional beauty is overrated.
