I paint several angels every year. During the winter months, my angels usually end up in the snow. The color palette of whites, greens, blues and grays are often found in these scenes. I usually add an element of whimsy that may or may not be noticed by the viewer. In this case, she sports a hole in her stocking, exposing her big toe.
