I found the wings and the face in a box of scraps that had been cut from my abandoned paintings. I also found a tiny hand, but somewhere along the way, I lost it. But because I liked how out of proportion it was, I painted it that way. I also liked the way she looked on a black canvas. I intended to keep this dark and simple. The Night Angel.
