I painted this several months after the passing of my mom. I was reaching the stage of acceptance in the grieving process and was beginning to trust that time would heal and I would be ok if I continue to "push" forward. When I shared this painting with family and friends many were concerned that I was thinking of jumping off a cliff. It was quite the opposite. I was finding peace.
