This piece makes me really happy. At the time, I was working with a couple of "mean girls." I felt like I was back in jr. high. It was terrible. The more successful I was in my life, my job, my friendships, my art, the meaner they were. I heard the song, "Radio" by Lana Del Rey. Everything about it inspired me. This painting made me feel empowered. It was the therapy I needed to move forward and find at least a little bit of peace.
