My inspiration for this painting was a combination of the snow that was falling outside my studio window at the time and my favorite winter coat. It doesn't look like this (I wish it did!), but it is oversized and slouchy. I used these colors all season....couldn't seem to get enough of them. I especially enjoyed creating the background. The title is a play on the quote, "Home is Where Your Heart Is" which hung in my childhood home.
