I have a large basket of pieces cut from abandoned or "failed" paintings. I decided it was time to give these eyes some life. This was an intuitive painting, but I knew immediately she had to be wearing a scarf or something that would help keep the focus on her eyes. The more I painted, the more intense they became....the more intense she became.
