Sometimes I get tired of "sweet" or "pretty" paintings. (Don't get me wrong, I am not going to completely stop painting them.) But there are times I want to rebel against my own art. This girl  is the first of what I hope will be a collection of strong, sassy, maybe a little bit inappropriate or ugly paintings of women. P.S. My favorite chair in my entire house is my hanging basket chair and, yes, I have been known to twist my feet like that when I sit in it.
